Scripps to buy McGraw Hill Tv producers
The E.W. Scripps Company, which has cablers like the Food Network and HGTV, is buying nine McGraw Hill stations for $212 million in cash. The transaction remains prone to regulator approval and normal closing conditions, which is advised by Morgan Stanley. The stations bought include four ABC affiliate entrepreneurs: KMGH in Colorado, KGTV in Hillcrest, KERO in Bakersfield and WRTV in Indiana. Another five stations are Aztec America affiliate entrepreneurs and so are located in Colorado, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Hillcrest and Bakersfield.
